The Wishing Well

The Crystal Rose on Lookout Mountain has a wishing well that has been on the property since 1883. History tells us that the Crystal Rose was the stage stop for the gold shipments from Black Hawk Colorado going down the Apex Trail into Denver. When the stage stopped at the Crystal Rose for water and to stretch peoples legs, many a person would come over to the wishing well to make a wish. I'm sure people wished for health, wealth, happiness and romance. Next time you come to Lookout Mountain, please stop by the wishing well and make your wish.
