Every bride wants to glow and look her best on her wedding day! There is absolutely nothing wrong with a little pampering now and then, especially the closer you get to the big day and the day of your ceremony.

Throughout the months prior to your wedding day, maintain a well balanced diet and drink plenty of water. This will enable your hair, skin and nails to look their best.

Many brides prefer to have their hair and makeup done professionally for their wedding day. They can also make arrangements for the bridesmaids and mothers to have theirs done as well. It is wise to have your hairdresser style your hair with a practice session before the wedding so their won't be any surprises. Take your veil and headpiece with you for this session. On your wedding day the bride, bridesmaids and mothers can go to the salon or make arrangements for the stylist to come to your home or the dressing site.

Make up that will take you from the ceremony through the reception is the goal for your wedding day. Hiring a professional make up artist can be beneficial and a real treat not only for the bride but the entire bridal party itself. When selecting a make up artist make sure they are trained to apply the right amount of make up for photographs. Generally you can hire your artist to come to your home or the dressing site.

Try to get as much sleep as possible the week before the wedding and avoid salt and alcohol. This will reduce dark circles and puffiness around the eyes. A tip for puffiness, if it does occur, is to lie down and apply eye gel or cool cucumber slices to your eyelids for about 30 minutes. If you are having the bridal party together for hair and makeup the day of the wedding, you may be tempted to celebrate with champagne, mimosas, or a bloody mary. Avoid this indulgence because it will cause your skin to flush, get red and your makeup will not last.

Chances are you will need a beauty touch-up at some point during your wedding. Put together a kit to take with you with lipstick, gloss, mascara, powder, a comb, brush, nail glue, polish and hair spray.

Eat a healthy breakfast on the day of the wedding and have snacks available throughout the day. Things can get hectic and eating can be forgotten. Don't let this happen, you don't want to faint during your wedding ceremony!

Enjoy your wedding day! This is the moment you have planned so long for. From the top of your head to the tips of your toes, you will look exquisite!
